National Night Out (NNO) is an annual community-wide crime prevention program supported by the Riverside Police and Fire Departments in partnership with our residents, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and city officials.

In celebration of NNO, the City of Riverside and Riverside Police and Fire Departments engage with residents by visiting with community at various events, cookouts, and block parties throughout the city .

NNO events are designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that Riverside neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

How Can Your Neighborhood Participate?

Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much, much more.

Registration for National Night Out will be available early September 2023. Check back soon!
