Canyon Crest Booster Station Replacement Project

About the Project

The Canyon Crest Booster Station Replacement Project will replace the existing Canyon Crest Booster Station currently located along Canyon Crest Drive to a more accessible location along El Cerrito Drive. The relocation of the booster station will allow for safe accessibility to the facility while replacing aged infrastructure and improving water supply reliability to the surrounding community.



Project Construction

Project construction includes the following:

  • Installation of a new booster station building and related elements along El Cerrito Drive.
  • Abandonment of the existing Canyon Crest Booster Station and related elements.
  • Installation of approximately 540 feet of 20-inch and 560 feet of 16-inch ductile iron pipeline along El Cerrito Drive.
  • Pavement restoration.

Anticipated Project Timeline

When: Spring 2021 - Summer 2023 

The work will progress over several months. The portions of work affecting streets in the area will be executed in segments to minimize disruptions to traffic.
