The campaign to raise support for Harada House
continues. The property, owned by the Museum of Riverside (a department of the City of Riverside), is fragile
and in need of major work. See below for two ways to
donate in support of this significant project.
1. To donate through the Riverside Museum
In collaboration with the Riverside Museum Associates, interested supporters are able to donate funds to restore the Harada House. Please designate your gift for “Harada House.” The Riverside Museum Associates is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Please note that the RMA also has a Harada-restricted endowment fund. Your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
2. To donate directly to the Museum...
You may also donate directly to the Museum in support of Harada House or other Museum projects. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. The City of Riverside (EIN 95-6000769), as a municipal government, is a political sub-division of the State of California. As such, the City qualifies as a charitable organization as defined by §170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). Donations made to the City of Riverside exclusively for public purposes are considered to be tax deductible in accordance with IRC §170(c)(1).
