Neighborhood Outdoor Movie Night

Neighborhood Outdoor Movie Night

The Neighborhood Outdoor Movie Night program provides outdoor theater equipment to residents for an opportunity to bring community together in the place that matters most to them – their neighborhoods. This equipment can be checked out “free of charge” to residents who wish to bring their community together and also provides an opportunity for City staff to engage with residents to share information on programming and other events as well.

For any questions, assistance in filling your grant application, or additional information regarding the Small Sparks Matching Grant Program, please email [email protected] or call (951) 826-5430.

How it works:

  • Location of movie night must occur within Riverside city limits.
  • Movies shown must be suitable for all audiences, including children under the age of 13. No PG-13 or above rates movies may be played on borrowed equipment.
  • Neighborhood Engagement staff will review your application and contact you if any information needs to be clarified. Please include two optional dates for reserving movie night equipment since the date of your event may already be booked.

Please note: If you want to hold your event on a Saturday or Sunday, you must reserve it for the preceding Friday as there is no staff on hand over the weekend for processing.
