Splash Pads on through Labor Day!

All park splash pads will remain on until Labor Day during the operational hours of 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Tot Olympics Summer Games and Kids Fair

The Tot Olympics Summer Games and Kids Fair (ages 3 -6)  will be held on August 13 from 9 - 11 a.m. at Arlington Heights Sports Park. Let your tot experience the day as an Olympic athlete in training.  For program details click here or to register visit www.RivReg.org.

 

Flag Football

Flag Football registration open! Flag Football teaches youth (ages 3 -14) the fundamentals of football and the importance of working as a team. The program emphasizes sportsmanship and promotes physical activity. Registration includes t-shirt and certificate. 2016 Mariachi Festival

Saturday September 24, from 9 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.

This colorful festival celebrating Hispanic culture and mariachi music is returning to Riverside! Event features fabulous music, Mariachi and Ballet Folklórico acts from all over Southern California. Enjoy delicious cultural foods, shop among the many vendors and view the community art displays.

Sports for Tots

With multiple pools available for use throughout the City there is an aquatics program for everyone! Programs include youth and adult swim lessons, Summer Splash Day Camp, Junior Lifeguard Camp, recreation swim and much more!

Capture Riverside Parks Photo Contest

Capture Riverside Photo ContestHave you participated in youth sports programs, enjoyed a round of golf at Fairmount Golf Course, attended a Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department (PRCSD) class or spent a fun afternoon with the family at a PRCSD pool? We want to see Riverside parks through your eyes. Share your experience and love of Riverside parks and facilities by submitting a photo and testimonial in the Capture Riverside photo contest. Winning photos and testimonials will be published in the PRCSD Activity Guide, social media and department presentations.  Contest categories include: Parks Make Life Better, Open Space, City of Riverside PRCSD classes/programs, events/sports and digitally altered (photo must fit one of the four categories listed). A $150 cash prize will be awarded to the best overall entry and the first 100 participants will receive an exclusive Parks Make Life Better prize just for entering! Entries will be accepted online July 1 through September 1 at CaptureRiverside.org.

Summer Movies in the Park

Riverside Sings Vocal Competition

Enjoy a series of FREE family friendly movies offered this summer. Come early and bring a picnic dinner (popcorn and refreshments available for a nominal fee)! Seating is on the grass, so bring a beach chair or blanket and enjoy the cool summer evening. All movies begin as dusk.
