RiversideTV will no longer broadcast Riverside City College football games during the 2026 season due to changes in RCC's live broadcast agreement. RiversideTV's high school football coverage and Friday Night Pep Rally will continue as scheduled.
RiversideTV Kicks Off High School Football Coverage with Live Games, Friday Night Pep Rally
Nine high school football games will be broadcast live throughout the season, with Friday Night Pep Rally bringing viewers highlights, scores and more every Friday night
RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Friday night football is back, and RiversideTV is bringing the action directly to you.
Beginning Friday, Aug. 21, RiversideTV will broadcast select high school football games live throughout the 2026 season, showcasing Riverside's student-athletes, schools and the excitement of football nights across the city.
The season kicks off this Friday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m., but the coverage doesn't stop when the game ends.
Every Friday night at 11 p.m., RiversideTV will air Friday Night Pep Rally, featuring highlights, scores, interviews and coverage from high school football games happening throughout Riverside. The show will give viewers a chance to catch up on the night's action and celebrate student athletes and school communities from across the city.
“Local football is about so much more than what happens on the field,” Mayor Patricia Lock Dawson said. “It's student athletes, coaches, families, alumni and entire school communities coming together. RiversideTV gives us an opportunity to showcase that energy and celebrate our students and schools throughout Riverside.”
