The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department (PRCSD) provides innovative recreational experiences and social enrichment opportunities and continues to address the changing needs for people of all ages and cultures, in a variety of safe and attractive parks, landscapes and facilities.

As of Friday, June 23 at 8 p.m. the following is in effect:

STAGE 1

STAY AT HOME ORDER

Governor directs all Californians to stay home except to go to an essential job or to shop for essential needs.

  • Virtual Recreation Programs
  • Cooling Centers: Bordwell, Dales, La Sierra and Villegas
  • Project BRIDGE

STAGE 2

Social distancing and face coverings must be maintained at all times.

  • All items in previous stages plus:
  • Tennis/Pickleball Courts
  • Andulka Tennis Complex and Parking
  • Fairmount Golf Course
  • Mt. Rubidoux and Parking Lot at Ryan Bonamino
  • Restrooms at Ryan Bonaminio, Martha McLean and Andulka
  • Martha McLean Disc Golf Course and Parking Lot
  • Sycamore Canyon Trails

STAGE 2 ACCELERATED (Currently allowed in this stage per the State and County guidance)

  • All items in previous stages plus:
  • Church Rentals
  • Skate Parks
  • Picnic Tables - (individual household only)
  • Parking Lots - at all parks except Fairmount Parking Lots at Market St.
  • Pools - with restrictions (controlled fitness only) *Reopening plan approval pending for Recreation Swim and Swim Lessons
  • Restrooms at the following parks (7a.m. - 3 p.m.)

Project BRIDGE

  • Project Building Resources for the Intervention and Deterrence of Gang Engagement (Project BRIDGE) staff will be available via phone to continue providing resources for registered participants only. Participants will receive a full or pro-rated refund / credit for cancelled programs, classes, rentals and events.
