Youth Basketball

Youth Basketball registration open! Basketball teaches youth (ages 3 -14) the fundamentals of the sport and the importance of working as a team. The program emphasizes sportsmanship and promotes physical activity. Registration includes t-shirt (tot, peewee, junior) or reversible jersey (div. Halloween Happenings

Eastside Fall Festival

Friday, October 21, from 5 - 8 p.m.

The Annual Eastside Fall Festival is held at Bobby Bonds Park. Event features Game Booths, Live Entertainment, and a Free Costume Contest. A Haunted Maze is available for $3 (recommended age 13+). Nominal fees may apply.

Capture Riverside Parks Photo Contest

Capture Riverside Photo ContestHave you participated in youth sports programs, enjoyed a round of golf at Fairmount Golf Course, attended a Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department (PRCSD) class or spent a fun afternoon with the family at a PRCSD pool? We want to see Riverside parks through your eyes. Share your experience and love of Riverside parks and facilities by submitting a photo and testimonial in the Capture Riverside photo contest. Winning photos and testimonials will be published in the PRCSD Activity Guide, social media and department presentations.  Contest categories include: Parks Make Life Better, Open Space, City of Riverside PRCSD classes/programs, events/sports and digitally altered (photo must fit one of the four categories listed). A $150 cash prize will be awarded to the best overall entry and the first 100 participants will receive an exclusive Parks Make Life Better prize just for entering! Entries will be accepted online through October 1 at

Winter Wonderland

 Winter WonderlandGather the family and enjoy festive activities that are sure to delight. Free activities, bounce houses, photos with Santa, crafts, entertainment, prizes, games, face painting, and food!   Fun Zone wristband includes 20 minutes of snow sled rides, bounce houses and 10 fun zone games, $10 pre-sale, $12 day of event. The event takes place at Orange Terrace Community Center on Friday, December 16, 3 - 9.
