    On June 6, at 1530 Hours, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the Sierra Pines Apartments in Ward 6.  Initial crews found heavy fire conditions in a second-floor apartment and initiated fire suppression actions.  During the fire attack, a firefighter suffered a moderate injury and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.  There were no civilian injuries.  The Red Cross responded to assist with 32 misplaced residents.  The property was red tagged and turned over to the property management. All fire units have cleared the scene.
