    Current Situation

(Recent updates are posted at the top of the Current Situation)

The City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported residential structure fire on the 1800 block of Enterprise St.  The first arriving units reported heavy smoke and fire conditions to the front of a single-story home.  Crews were able to mount an aggressive attack on the fire keeping the fire from spreading to the rear portion of the home.  Crews then remained on scene to completely extinguish any remaining fire and to investigate the cause.  The cause of the fire appears to be related to homeless activities including an unattended fire that escaped a fireplace.
