Independence Day is just around the corner, and so is Ward 5’s 3rd Annual “Who Did it Best” 4th of July Porch Decorating Contest! There is no better way to lift our spirits than to decorate our homes with red, white, and blue. Here are the details of the residential Porch Decorating Contest. Show me what the 4th of July means to you! To participate, you will need to get started on decorating your home. Once you are done, you must complete the registration form below along with uploading a picture of your porch (ex: close-ups, side views, full front view, etc.). Please make sure the pictures are readily visible as they will be used for judging. The deadline for decorating your home is June 22nd, with judging to take place between June 23rd to July 3rd. A total of 3 winners will be selected, announced, and notified on July 4th. Whichever porch has the most votes will be selected as the winner. The first-place winner will receive a $100 restaurant gift card. The second-place winner will receive a $50 restaurant gift card and the third-place winner will receive a $25 restaurant gift card.
