With multiple pools available for use throughout the City there is an aquatics program for everyone! Programs include youth and adult swim lessons, Summer Splash Day Camp, Junior Lifeguard Camp, recreation swim and much more!
Have you participated in youth sports programs, enjoyed a round of golf at Fairmount Golf Course, attended a Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department (PRCSD) class or spent a fun afternoon with the family at a PRCSD pool? We want to see Riverside parks through your eyes. Share your experience and love of Riverside parks and facilities by submitting a photo and testimonial in the Capture Riverside photo contest. Winning photos and testimonials will be published in the PRCSD Activity Guide, social media and department presentations. Contest categories include: Parks Make Life Better, Open Space, City of Riverside PRCSD classes/programs, events/sports and digitally altered (photo must fit one of the four categories listed). A $150 cash prize will be awarded to the best overall entry and the first 100 participants will receive an exclusive Parks Make Life Better prize just for entering! Entries will be accepted online July 1 through September 1 at CaptureRiverside.org.
Enjoy a series of FREE family friendly movies offered this summer. Come early and bring a picnic dinner (popcorn and refreshments available for a nominal fee)! Seating is on the grass, so bring a beach chair or blanket and enjoy the cool summer evening. All movies begin as dusk.

Summer Concerts in the Park are held on Wednesday evenings from 6-9 p.m. at Fairmount Park, June 15 - July 27 (excluding July 6). For the 2016 entertainment line up, click here.
The 4th of July Spectacular features aerial fireworks shows at La Sierra Park and Mt. Rubidoux (in sync with KOLA 99.9 broadcast). Access will not be permitted all day at La Sierra Park and not after 7 a.m. at Mt. Rubidoux on July 4. Show begins promptly at 9 p.m. No drones allowed.
In effort to conduct the firework show with the utmost safety and to clear the area for the required firework production "fallout zone" street closures will be required for the day of July 4. You can view the La Sierra map here and the Mt. Rubidoux map here.
Rookie Baseball is sponsored by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and teaches youth (ages 3 -12) the fundamentals of baseball using a pitching machine. For program details click here or to register visit www.RivReg.org.
