Mission Statement
The Community Police
Review Commission was created in order to promote public confidence in the professionalism and accountability of
the sworn staff of the Riverside Police Department.
This is done by independently reviewing citizen complaint investigations,
recommending changes in departmental policy, on-going public outreach and, when deemed appropriate by
the Commission or Manager, conduct an independent
investigation of citizen complaints.

"You are not here merely to make a living.
You are here in order to enable the world to live more
amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and
achievement.
You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand."
Woodrow
Wilson
28th President of the United States
