Get Involved In Your Community!

Twice a month the City of Riverside provides an opportunity for community members to eradicate graffiti and beautify their neighborhoods.

Graffiti Volunteers join together to clean up our community. Green Wall Progress Greenwalls are an effective barrier because it makes tagging more difficult on the vandals. Uniforming Walls Paint-Out events restore pride to neighborhoods by removing visual blight. Paint Out Projects are not just limited to graffiti on walls, but can be used to remove graffiti throughout a neighborhood.

Paint-Out Events:

• Twice per month, 24 times per year
• Painting over graffiti
• Uniforming walls
• Removing graffiti from signs and poles

Green Wall Events:

• Six times per year
• Cover graffiti canvas with landscape and shrubs
• Planting trees in front of graffiti prone walls
• Educate community about green wall techniques

PEP Meetings

KRCB and the City of Riverside co-chair a Public Education Program (PEP) meeting regarding graffiti related projects and issues

• Open to community members
• Local government and private agencies attend
• Presentations and discussion on graffiti problems in community with proposed solutions
• 10:00 am on the Second Wednesday of every other month (February, April, June, October, December)
• Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, 3985 University Avenue in Riverside
