Get Involved with the Office of the Mayor

Riversiders looking to share their unique talents and expertise with the community are welcomed to join and participate in the advisory boards that seek to share with, inform, and advise Mayor Lock Dawson on a multitude of topics.

The Mayor's Office coordinates the Multicultural Forum, and assists the Riverside Police Department with the Riverside Youth Council. Learn more about each of these valued advisory boards by exploring their pages and see how you can be involved!

In addition to advisory boards, Mayor Lock Dawson welcomes your valued input in other ways. During Mayor Lock Dawson’s 2021 State of the City Address, the “Mayor’s Big Tent Tour” was introduced as an initiative for the Mayor to join residents in each of Riverside’s neighborhoods for meet and greet events between July 2021 and June 2022.
