Home ARP

On September 20, 2021, the City and HUD executed an agreement with the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development for the anticipated $4.3 million of HOME Investment Partnerships Agreement – American Rescue Plan  grant funds that can be used for the production or preservation of affordable housing, tenant based rental assistance, supportive services, homeless prevention, and the purchase and development of non-congregate shelters.

To ensure broad input into the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan from stakeholders and the public, the City received input from stakeholders and the community during the Five-Year Plan to Reduce Homelessness community meetings. To receive the HOME-ARP funding allocation, the City must amend its 2021/22 HUD Annual Action Plan, provide a 15-day public comment period, and conduct a public hearing. The required amendment and plan will be presented to the City Council on June 28th for their consideration.
