    On Sunday May 23, 2021 at 10:10 a.m., The City of Riverside Fire Department, AMR and RPD responded to the Victoria Bridge for a report of an individual hanging from the bridge.  Firefighters arrived to discover a person hanging from a rope.  The technical rescue team performed an overside technical hoist operation and determine the patient to be deceased.  The Riverside County Sherriff Coroner responded to the incident and took charge of the incident.  The patient was an adult male approximately in his mid-30’s was retrieved.  There were no firefighter injuries.  Victoria Ave was closed to vehicle traffic during the incident.
