    At 12:18 AM on 12/27/2019, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of a residential structure fire. The first arriving captain reported a fire in a single-story, single family house. The fire was knocked down in nine minutes and totally controlled at 12:37 AM. The fire caused extensive damage to the interior of the house. The fire originated in the master bedroom and was caused by an unattended cigarette. The homeowner was the only person home at the time of the incident. There were no civilian or firefighter injuries.
