    On May 9th, 2021 at 11:21 A.M the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a first alarm residential structure fire in the 9200 Block of Penny.  Upon arrival fire department units discovered a single-story house with an attached garage.  The garage was fully involved with fire.  Fire department crews made an aggressive attack and contained the fire to the garage.  The house was vacant and there were not any displaced residents.  There were not any civilian or firefighter injuries.  The cause of the fire was undetermined but likely due to a faulty electrical system.
