(Recent updates are posted at the top of the Current Situation)

On November 3, 2023, Cal-Fire and The City of Riverside responded to the area of Mission Inn X Crestmore for reports of a Vegetation Fire.  County Fire arrived on scene to find a small spot of vegetation on fire within the old Boy Scout Camp.  City resources arrived on scene to discover three additional fires for a total of four fires within the old Boy Scout Camp.  The fire was upgraded to two alarms.  Each fire was contained, investigated and mopped up.  The four separate fires were not located in homeless camps.  The fire cause was undetermined after investigation, but the probable cause is human related.  There were no firefighters or civilian injuries.
