    Current Situation

    On April 24, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a brush fire reported near hole lake at Van Buren and Jurupa.  Fire department crews arrived on scene and found a fire burning at a homeless encampment.  Crews made an aggressive attack on the fire and contained the fire to a 100’ by 50’ area.  There were not any civilian or firefighter injuries reported.  The cause of the fire was undetermined but likely human caused.
