(Recent updates are posted at the top of the Current Situation)

On July 27th at 9:11 pm, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a structure fire at the Galleria Mall inside Forever 21.  Fire department crews arrived on scene and found nothing showing from the store.  Crews investigated and made access to the basement where heavy smoke was found coming from the basement entry door.  Crews made an aggressive attack on the fire and contained it to the room of origin.  The cause of the fire was due to an electrical malfunction inside the elevator control room.
