    Final - Two patients were self-extricated from the aircraft. They were treated on scene and transported to a local area hospital to be evaluated for minor injuries. The NTSB and FAA were notified and the aircraft was left with the airport director.

     

    At 0955 on July 15th the City of Riverside Fire Department was dispatched to the Riverside Airport at 6951 Flight Road for reports of an aircraft down East of runway 27.  The first arriving unit found one aircraft upside down on the airport property nearest Hillside Avenue.  A total of two patients were onboard at the time of the crash.  Battalion Chief Tony Perna is the incident commander at this time.  Further information will be updated as it comes available.
