Public Education Programs

The City of Riverside Fire Department believes in the prevention of fire and injury through proactive public education programs. Our Public Education Coordinator serves as a liaison between schools, businesses, and other organizations to provide information regarding fire and life safety topics.

Programs coordinated include:  Purple Ribbon Month, Fire Expo/Open House, Learn Not to Burn, File of Life, Fire Station Tours, School Visits, Water Safety Awareness, Emergency Preparedness, and Career Fairs.

A Request for Public Education activity for the fire department must be submitted 2-3 months before the event.
