November 5, 2019 - Special Municipal Runoff Election

Wards 1, 3, 5, and 7 - Polling Place Election 

On November 5, 2019, a Special Municipal Runoff Election will be held for the two candidates of each Ward that received the highest number of votes. Successful candidates will serve five-year terms transitioning future elections to even-numbered years to coincide with Statewide elections.  The full election calendar can be found here.     

The sample ballot materials mailed to voters contains polling place information.  Drop off vote-by-mail ballots at the City Clerk’s Office, 3900 Main Street, 7th Floor, Riverside, CA, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Mail-in ballots are also being accepted at:

  • • Registrar of Voters, 2724 Gateway Drive, Riverside
  • • Blindness Support Services, 3696 Beatty Drive, Riverside

Ballot drop off and early voting services are available at the Registrar of Voters and Blindness Support Services on Saturday, November 2, 2019, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
