Neighborhood Engagement

The Community & Economic Development Department’s Neighborhood Engagement Division is responsible for connecting residents to community activities and promoting programs that lead to a better quality of life in the City of Riverside and includes Neighborhood programs as well as the CalFresh Healthy Living grant program.

The Neighborhood Engagement Division supports the people of Riverside in their desire to experience an inclusive environment that embraces resilient neighborhoods through education, awareness and community building.

The Division focuses on building strong programs with initiatives and projects that promote and create better community engagement while utilizing Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD). Through ABCD, residents are provided an opportunity to identify, celebrate and build upon neighborhood assets and treasures while strengthening community along the way.
