UCR Orchestra shines in a diverse program of fabulous music: Bartók’s colorful Rumanian Folk Dances, Vaughan Williams’s boisterous English Folk Song Suite and the beautiful Prelude on Rhosymedre, Fauré’s Renaissance-tinged dances in Masques et Bergamasques, a pair of Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances to bring a smile, and – celebrating Beethoven’s anniversary year – the exhilarating Egmont Overture.
