CASA volunteers are just one piece of gold in the pot at the end a child's rainbow

Children enter foster care after suffering abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Their whole world changes overnight – new home, new caregivers, new school, new everything. This is the time they need the support of a caring adult more than ever. We need generous people, like you, to show up for them.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are volunteers trained by Voices for Children and matched with a child or sibling group in foster care. A CASA spends quality time with the youth and learns about every aspect of their case. This allows the CASA to effectively advocate for them in court, school, medical settings, and more to ensure all of their personalized needs are being met. A CASA makes sure a child’s voice is heard.

Many children in Riverside County foster care are currently waiting for a CASA volunteer of their own. With just 10-15 hours a month, you can help a child thrive and put them on a path toward a successful future.
