Please review the Project Description and the specification documents below. Bid and RFP responses should be submitted as outlined in the specification documents. In order for a submittal to be responsive, the company submitting must be subscribed to this project with their name shown on the Electronic Bidders List (Current Planholders List) below. No subscriptions to a project will be valid or recognized after the response period has ended. All prospective bidders submitting a bid package must be subscribed to the Electronic Bidder’s List for that bid. If the bidder is not listed on the Electronic Bidder’s List by subscribing at www.riversideca.gov/bids then the bid package will be declared non-responsive and given no further consideration. All bid packages must be submitted via the bidding website. No company may submit on behalf of an unrelated entity.
All bid packages must be submitted electronically through the bidding website, there will be no exceptions. NO HARD COPY BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

All requests for clarifications, changes, exceptions, deviations to the terms and conditions set forth in this RFP must be submitted via email to Jairo “JC” Cortez at jcortez@riversideca.gov.  The Final day for receipt of questions from the Proposer shall be on or before October 27, 2017 at 3:00 pm. 

•	A Company shall have at least five (5) years’ of experience, within the past two years under a legally registered business name, in providing services of a similar type and scope as described in the Scope of Services (“Services”) (Exhibit “A”).  A Company shall not have filed for bankruptcy under any business name over the past five (5) years.

The City of Riverside General Services Department is inviting proposers to submit proposals for Generator Maintenance Services. The Fleet Management Division manages a mixed fleet comprised of 1,048 vehicles and pieces of equipment.  Included in this total are nearly 45 stationary and portable generators.  The stationary generators provide emergency backup power to various City buildings to continue providing City and emergency services during a power outage.
The City of Riverside (“City”) is seeking a qualified Company to provide Generator Maintenance Services.  Proposals are requested from Companies that have a demonstrated ability to perform the tasks identified in this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) scope of work.
