The utility has begun an upgrade to the current streetlight system in the historic Wood Streets neighborhood. Work should be completed by the end of August 2014. Most of the construction will take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Work will be performed in the street, and home access will not be required. Impact to existing landscaping will be restored to its original state or protected in place. Construction activities will include the installation of new streetlight standards, cable and conduit and will meet the City’s roadway lighting requirements. In most cases, new streetlights will not be placed in the exact same location as the existing streetlight. The map below shows areas that will receive new streetlights.
Please check back on this web page for a more detailed construction schedule as the project progresses. For any additional information please contact Addie Revuelta at (951) 826-5484 or firstname.lastname@example.org
