$200 when installing a qualifying multi or variable speed pool pump with appropriate controller.

Pool Pump – Energy Efficient Pool/Spa Rebate Program Guidelines

• This program is available to Riverside Public Utilities (RPU) residential electric customers for the purchase and installation of new energy efficient pool pumps (EEPP) for in-ground swimming pools or in-ground spas.
• Customers must fulfill all program specific and general RPU programs guidelines to be eligible for incentives.
• Application must be submitted within ninety (90) days of receipt purchase date in order to qualify for rebate.
• Rebates will be refunded to the customer’s residential electric account.
• Qualified units must be installed and in operation at the customer’s service address before applying for a rebate. Once installed, mail your application along with copies of legible, dated sales receipt as proof of purchase to Riverside Public Utilities.
• Incentive is available for the purchase of one qualified pool pump per electric account per, calendar year.
• Installed units are subject to inspection for program compliance. Failure to comply may forfeit rebate.
• Customer must sign liability agreement on application.
• RPU reserves the right to determine product eligibility. Pumps that were purchased for resale, used pumps, leased or rented pumps, pumps won as prizes or given as gifts, will not qualify for rebate.
• Program is subject to change without prior notification. Rebates are given on a first come, first served basis subject to fund availability.
