Riverside, Calif. – Tune in to Riverside Public Utilities weekly radio program the Green Power Report on Monday, October 7, at 6:30 p.m. on AM 590 The Answer, as host Mike Bacich welcomes U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon Director Richard King.
Created by King in 2000, the Solar Decathlon is an award-winning program that challenges collegiate teams to design, build, and operate solar powered houses that are cost-effective, energy-efficient, and attractive. Mr. King will provide insights on past events, as well as the 2013 Solar Decathlon and XPO events now taking place through October 13 at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine.
The multi award winning Green Power Report has been on-air since 2007 and serves as one of Inland Southern California’s key sources for news about environmental stewardship, sustainable living practices, and renewable energy.
