Dallas, TX – The MarCom Awards have announced that Riverside Public Utilities has received two Gold, and two Platinum honors in its 2012 international awards competition which recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communications professionals.
The utility’s entries were among 6,000 reviewed by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals for this year’s competition received from an international field of corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, and freelancers.
RPU’s “Lighting Has Evolved” magazine advertisement and Green Power Report radio show took home the Gold Awards, while the AMCP chose its 2012 Power Partner Campaign, and Business Incentives Programs brochure to receive MarCom’s top Platinum Awards designations.
“We are very excited to receive this recognition from the AMCP,” said RPU’s Assistant General Manager for Customer Relations and Marketing Mike Bacich. “Our team does a great job to create materials that not only market our local programs and services to our customer-owners, but are also able to stand up against materials produced by top companies and design firms.”
