Among the 58 retail power providers in the state, the City of Riverside Public Utilities (RPU) is one of only 13 retail power providers to be in full compliance with California's Power Source Distribution Program (SB 1305).

Only Riverside Public Utilities, 11 other publicly owned utilities, and one other retail power provider, demonstrated program compliance by the timely reporting of their resource mix to their customers and their progress in meeting their own Renewable Portfolio Standard, according to the most recent report by the California Energy Commission (CEC).

The purpose of California's Power Source Distribution Program is to assure retail electricity customers get full and accurate information about the electricity products they purchase.
