The City of Riverside Public Utilities is committed to supporting
and building alternative methods of generating power through renewable
resources. An example is Riverside's first rooftop installation
of a 46-kilowatt photovoltaic generation station at the Oak Tree
Apartments. The station benefits lower income residents and the
community of Riverside. Entirely paid for through public benefits
funds, this project is just one of the ways the utility provides
the community with renewable energy, assuring our power needs are
met today and in the future.
