The City of Riverside is committed to supporting and building alternative methods of generating power through renewable resources. An example is the 81-kilowatt Photovoltaic (solar) Generating Station at the Indiana Avenue low-income Apartments. This facility benefits low-income residents and the rest of the City. Entirely paid for through public benefit funds, this project is just one of the ways the City provides the community with renewable energy, assuring our power needs are met today and in the future.
