| :: Energy Efficiency Technology Grant Program |
| Riverside Public Utilities (RPU) brings an opportunity for your
business to request funds for research, development, and effective
use of innovative energy technologies that are unique to your business
or your industry specific manufacturing techniques or process.
This offers flexibility and allows you to tailor your project to
meet individual needs and goals. |
| Grant amount is up to 100% of the project cost with a maximum
of $100,000 per project with no matching funds or repayment requirements
associated with this program. Grants are subject to program and
fund availability. |
| All projects or uses of grant funds must comply with the California
Public Utilities Code Section 385 related to use of public
benefits funds. To be eligible for consideration under this program
the project must target one or more specific innovative energy
technologies. All projects must show how they add value to your
organization's operations. Call 951-826-5485 today and make an
appointment to discuss potential projects. |
|
Open to all business electric customers of RPU with an
electric account. Grant will be paid to the electric customer-of-record,
or to the designated project leader identified on the grant application.
The customer needs to submit a project proposal with an energy
savings estimate. When a customer project is selected, RPU will
enter into an agreement with the customer to establish that the
system demonstrates the proposed savings.
Completion and submission of an application does not obligate
the City to allocate Program funds to your project. Feasibility
study funds to determine the effectiveness of the proposed projects
are available up to $5,000 per project per calendar year. All General
Program Guidelines apply.
