| :: Tree Power Rebate Program |
Riverside Public Utilities offers customers a rebate for planting
selected shade trees in certain locations around their business
to save on cooling costs.
Planting deciduous trees around your property can reduce the
amount of energy you will use for cooling in the summer, while
letting in the sun's warming rays in winter.
|
|
The program offers a maximum rebate of up to $25 per tree to
eligible business customers for the purchase of up to five qualifying
shade trees per year.
|
| Open to customers of Riverside Public Utilities with an electric
account. Applicants must comply with all program guidelines described
in the program package to receive a rebate. If the applicant is
a tenant/renter, the property owner must sign the application prior
to its submission. |
