Stephen H. Badgett (Steve) is the Deputy General Manager – Energy Delivery of Riverside Public Utilities.

Badgett oversees the Energy Delivery Division employees responsible for the engineering, construction, maintenance, and operation of the electric, streetlight and telecommunication systems serving California’s twelfthlargest city.

Badgett has been involved in public power since 1974 and has been with Riverside Public Utilities since 1990 serving as Senior and Principal Electrical Engineer and Energy Delivery. Prior to his employment with Riverside, Badgett was employed with Memphis Light, Gas and Water, the nation’s largest three-service utility.

Badgett is a graduate of Tennessee State Technical Institute and the University of Memphis (Memphis State University) with degrees in Architectural Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
