Jerry D. Rogers is the Utilities Assistant General Manager - Finance and Customer Relations of Riverside Public Utilities.

Rogers was Vice President/Senior Government Relationship Manager for Union Bank of California for five years prior to joining the utility. Rogers served as Finance Director/Treasurer for the City of Riverside from 1997 until 2000 and was the city’s Revenue Manager, Deputy Treasurer, and Deputy Finance Director during the 10 previous years. His professional designations and memberships include:

  • League of California Cities – Past member Revenue and Taxation Policy Committee;
  • GFOA – Government Finance Officers Association – Past member Cash management Committee;
  • CSMFO – California Society of Municipal Finance Officers – Past Member Board of Directors;
  • Past Chairperson Investment Committee;
  • MTA – Municipal Treasurers’ Association – Former Certified California Treasurer;
  • AFP – Association for Financial Professionals – Certified Treasury Professional

Rogers holds a BS in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach. He has also received advance training from the University of California, Riverside – Executive Management Program; the Government Finance Officers Association – Advance Institute Program; the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers – Certified Finance Officer Program; and the Association of Finance Professionals – Certified Treasury Professional Program.
