Gary L. Nolff is the Utilities Assistant General Manager – Resources of Riverside Public Utilities.

Nolff served as Utility Projects/Contracts Manager since 1998 and Power Contracts Administrator for another eight years prior for Riverside Public Utilities. He is well respected by other California municipal utilities for his strong understanding of the operations of the western power grid and generation resources. Nolff has a tremendous understanding of energy contracts and the strategic positioning required protecting Riverside’s resources and financial position.

His career experience includes employment by the California Independent System Operator, City of Anaheim, and Southern California Edison.

Nolff received a B.S. degree in Business and Management from the University of Redlands. He is certified in Control Area Operations, Thermal Generation Station Theory and Operations, and Electrical Power Production.
