Child Endangerment

Riverside, Ca- On 03/30/07 at approximately 1804 hours, in the 2400 block of Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside Police Officers were flagged down reference an infant child not breathing. Officers responded to the residence and located a 15-month-old infant. Officers observed the infant not breathing and began CPR. Riverside Fire Department arrived on-scene and continued with CPR. The infant was transported by American Medical Response to a local Riverside hospital and is still undergoing medical attention. Cause of the infant’s condition is unknown at this time.

The infant’s mother, Yesenia Villa (19) and her husband Edgar Quintana (32), both from Riverside were later arrested on child endangerment charges and booked into Robert Presley Detention Center.
