Fatal Traffic Collision

Riverside, Ca- On March 31, 2007, at approximately 2:42PM, a 1999 Chrysler 300M driven by Driver #1 was E/B on Arlington Ave. leaving the city limits of Norco. A second vehicle, a 1996 Chevy truck driven by Mr. Ingram, was W/B on Arlington Ave.

According to witnesses, Driver #1 crossed over the double yellow lines for unknown reasons and collided head-on into the vehicle driven by Mr. Ingram.

Members of Riverside Fire, Riverside Sheriff Department and Riverside Police Department responded to the scene. Driver #1 suffered major trauma to his head and upper torso and died at the scene. Mr. Ingram was transported to Riverside Community Hospital for a broken leg and complaint of pain to his upper torso.

The identity of Driver #1 is being withheld until family notification is made by the Coroner’s Office.
