Suspicious Package

Riverside, Ca- On June 10, 2007 at 1342 hours, Officers from the Riverside Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious package to the front of the Ralph’s Market, located at 6153 Magnolia Avenue.

When officers arrived at the location, employees from the market pointed out a suspicious metal container, which was on top of a trash can near the entrance of the store. The officers made several attempts to locate the possible owner of the container without any success.

The immediate area was cleared to ensure public safety and officers from the Riverside Police Department’s Technical Safety Unit (TSU) responded to the scene.
