Motorcyclist Shot Riverside, Ca- On Saturday, October 21, 2006, at approximately 5:07PM, officers responded to a call of a motorcyclist who had been shot on Tyler Street in the area of the Galleria shopping mall. The investigation revealed that the victim and a friend had been riding separate motorcycles northbound on Tyler Street. Two male suspects in a vehicle were along side of the motorcyclists. One of the suspects inside of the vehicle fired a handgun with a bullet striking the victim. Medical aid was summoned to the scene and the victim was transported to Riverside Community Hospital where he was treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the shoulder. The 22 year-old victim, a Riverside resident, was subsequently released from the hospital. Patrol officers conducted follow-up investigation, which resulted in information with a possible location for the suspects. Officers made contact with subjects at a residence in the 6600 block of El Cajon Drive. Two suspects, a 16 year-old male, and an 18 year-old male, were subsequently identified by a witness and arrested.
