Suspect arrested in 91 Freeway Double Homicide
Riverside, Ca- A suspect was arrested Tuesday, March 14, 2006, in Hawthorne, Nev., in response to the Riverside Police
Department investigation of a freeway shooting that killed two occupants and injured the driver of a vehicle in the eastbound lanes
of Highway 91 east of Madison St., Riverside, about 8 p.m., Sunday January 22, 2006.
J awaun Deion GRAHAM, 20, of Compton,
(see photo) is the suspect in the freeway shooting, where two men in a vehicle, Joel Rios, 26, of Moreno Valley; and Manuel
Gomez, 24, of Anaheim, were killed and a third man, the driver, was injured when the driver of a passing vehicle fired several
shots on the 91 freeway.
Suspect Graham is also sought in the
January 30 shooting of two Hispanic youths on Seventh Avenue,
near Douglass Street. Two male youths, ages 15 and 16, received non-life threatening gunshot injuries after verbal altercations
with the suspect.
