Market Robbed – Video / Images
Riverside, Ca- On Friday June 16, 2006 at about 1:30 P.M. the market located in the 7600 block of Evans Street
was robbed by three armed suspects. The suspects entered the location, ordered the store employees and customers to lay
face down on the floor and tied the hands of one employee, with what appeared to be speaker wire of some sort. Taken in
the robbery was a large amount of cash with the majority of it in $100 denominations.
All three suspects are described as Hispanic males in their early 20’s, approximately 5’9” with a thin - medium build.
All had dark hair, two of them wore white or light colored shirts, one of which was long sleeved. The other suspect wore
a dark colored shirt and dark baseball type hat.
The store utilizes an in store recording system and captured portions of the robbery in progress. Detectives with the
Riverside Police Department’s Robbery / Homicide Unit are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the three
suspects in this robbery. Attached are images from the video. Additional portions of this video are available for
media distribution.
