Man injured in shooting
Riverside, Ca- On July 13, 2006, at approximately 10:40 PM, Riverside police officers
responded to the 6800 block of Dorinda Dr. after being dispatched to a call regarding a shooting
victim in the area.
Upon arrival officers located a 20-year-old male Black victim who had received a gunshot wound to
his right leg. The victim told officers he had been standing in the area of Tyler Ave. and Gould
St. when two Hispanic males exited a vehicle, which was being driven by a third Hispanic male,
then shot him. The suspects were described as Hispanic males ages 16 to 25 years old, all fled
in a light colored four-door vehicle.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The motivation
for the shooting is unknown at this time and it is not clear if the shooting is gang related.
