Riverside, Ca- On Monday January 23, 2006 at about 0204 hours officers from the Riverside Police Department responded to the “In Cahoots” nightclub at 3742 Park Sierra reference a call of possible shots fired. Upon arrival officers found a twenty year old male from Carson, CA with a non life threatening gunshot wound to his left side. He was treated at the scene by paramedics and then transported to Riverside Community Hospital for further treatment.

The weapon appears to have been a small caliber handgun, which has not been recovered at this time. The suspect is described as a male black dressed in all black clothing. He has not been identified and is still outstanding.

The victim’s name is not being released at this time pending notification of his family.
