Riverside, Ca- On Monday January 23, 2006 at about 0151 hours officers from the Riverside Police Department responded to 3700 block of Fillmore Street reference a possible attempt suicide. Upon arrival they found a twenty-four year old male with an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. Paramedics arrived and attempted to treat the male however, they were unable to revive him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The male’s girlfriend stated they had a verbal disagreement over a domestic dispute but the male did not appear despondent. A deputy coroner from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded and assisted with the investigation.

The victim’s name is not being released at this time pending notification of his family.
